Action after a change of mind- return to 1996!

I was born in 1996 and grew up in the early 2000s. I remember when 9/11 happened, I was in second grade. My teacher had us all stand up and put our hand over our hearts and say the pledge of allegiance. I didn’t know what was going on, but I knew it was something serious. After that, things changed. The world seemed like a scarier place.

Now, 20 years later, I’ve realized that my childhood innocence wasn’t so bad after all. In fact, it’s something that I miss now that I’m an adult. That’s why I’ve decided to return to 1996!

I’m going to start by watching all of my favorite childhood movies again, like Toy Story and The Lion King. Then, I’m going to play some of my favorite video games from that era, like Super Mario 64 and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. And finally, I’m going to listen to the music that I loved as a kid – Britney Spears, *NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, etc.

It’s going to be a blast! And who knows? Maybe this will help me feel more connected to my younger self and remind me of what’s truly important in life: having fun!
